One of our members, ~ShinobiHime has created a Pili Wiki. We could use a lot of help on this so if you know some things about Pili, it would be nice if you could help us out. Here is the link: [link]
Weird how I only find out about it now, as it seems to have more of a following than "Star Fleet" does, but then again samurai shows aren't really my cup of tea. But then again, neither are Westerns, but I like "Four Feather Falls" because of the puppets. I probably wouldn't like shows like these if it weren't for the puppets.
Shame. Did they ask the user to remove them or did they report the videos and have them removed by force. Also checked out the English; Wulin Warriors intro. Pretty god awful intro, but that's all I can comment on really for the moment. I can tell it got a pretty typical America treatment; hacked up. And based on the intro, I doubt the voice acting is anything like "Star Fleet" (which had phenomonal voice actors).
The American version was so bad it was cancelled after only two episodes. And one character, Ye Hsiao-Chai isn't supposed to talk in the original, but in the American version, they made him into an idiot who says stupid things all the time. In the original, one person does all the voices, too.
I'm not sure. I just know that the person was so shocked by the message that they deleted their whole account. They made a new account, but added some scenes with subtitles but not whole episodes. It's this one, there: [link]
This looks interesting! Pili Multimedia is presenting at an international licensing expo in Las Vegas starting June 12. Perhaps they're looking to get an international licensing deal? [link]
